Hatha is a sanskrit word meaning the union of the sun and moon as it is a balanced practice that involves both upper and lower body poses, balance poses, and breath work to align the mind, body and spirit. Hatha is a moderately paced style of yoga that is medium to high intensity and difficulty. This style of yoga acts as a moving meditation that allows you to be in the present by calming your mind through breath, and surrendering to the moment through challenging poses so that you can, much like life coaching, create the space within to discover your identity and values, and create powerful futures for yourself.

Chair Hatha Yoga

Chair hatha yoga is a slow to moderately paced style of yoga that is low to medium difficulty. Much like regular hatha yoga, chair hatha yoga also acts as a moving meditation that allows you to create the space within to discover your identity and values, and create powerful futures for yourself.

Yin Yoga

Yin is an introspective yoga practice that’s slower, softer, and calmer than other styles of yoga such as hatha, which can be more dynamic and heat generating. Yin focuses on stillness and patience through mainly floor postures that are held for longer periods of time. The longer held postures allow you to surrender even more to the moment and go inwards even deeper to discover the physiological, mental, and emotional benefits of the practice. Yin yoga is low intensity and difficulty, and can be quite soothing.

Pain Care Yoga

Pain care yoga is a specialty yoga that is focused on supporting you during times where you may experience mental, emotional, or physical pain through using various yoga postures and props to create a sense of safety, comfort, support, and mobility. Pain care yoga is an extremely slow paced style of yoga, and consists of mainly floor poses that are soothing and restful with no balancing or stretching. And because this type of yoga is not intense or difficult whatsoever as it is meant to restore you mentally, emotionally, and physically, you will be in a state of full relaxation and restoration.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a form of mind-body therapy that consists of a systematic form of guided meditation where you lay in a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Yoga nidra often brings immediate emotional and mental benefits such as reduced stress, better sleep, and consistent mood. Improved emotional and mental states often lead to physical benefits such as lower inflammation, improved digestion, consistent energy, resiliency, and better weight management.
