Muse Life Guide is a wellness company that is comprised of the trifecta of holistic wellness – Muse Life Coaching for the mind, Muse Nutrition for the body, and Muse Yoga for the spirit. The word “Muse” means to look inward, as opposed to always looking outward, for the power, strength, inspiration, validation, and resources to create a meaningful and beautiful life for ourselves.
Muse takes an inclusive, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to coaching, nutrition, and yoga. Everyone is seen as whole and unbroken, behind every behaviour is a positive intention, that everyone is okay, and has the resources within them to make positive changes in their lives.
Muse Life Guide was founded by Edmond T. Cheng. Edmond’s passion is in working with people to discover their passions, and transform their potential into meaningful and tangible manifestations of their visions and values. His passion came after a life changing moment many years ago when he realized he was living his life for others than for himself, which led him to question his own beliefs, identity, and values. What Edmond came to realize was that his whole life was made up of layers and layers of cultural, societal, and familial expectations of what it meant to be a man, of what it meant to be an Asian man, and of what it meant to be a gay Asian man. It came to a point where he wanted to live the life he’s always wanted to live, and that meant becoming his own man, his own sun, the author of his own story, and the master of his own universe. But in order for Edmond to be his own sun, he realized he had to be open and willing to the idea of self-discovery and to do the work required to fulfill his purposes in life. And once he said, ‘yes’ to the universe, ‘yes’ to his future, and ‘yes’ to himself, that was when the transformation began. And that was when Edmond turned his life long passion of helping people into transformational coaching and holistic nutrition consulting, and his 15+ years of yoga practice into yoga teaching.
Through Edmond’s journey of self-discovery, he experienced what it felt like to be mentally, physically, and spiritually aligned, which led him to want to bring that empowering experience to others through his work. When we are totally aligned, we are in the clearest mind, at our freest point, and at our high peak in that moment of our lives to make the most positively impactful decisions that serves our highest selves and our deepest values.
Edmond says, “the Muse approach, whether it be through Muse Life Coaching, Muse Nutrition, or Muse Yoga, is a partnership between you and I. And our partnership consists of deep belief changing vision exploration exercises that integrates your sense of purpose and values in motivating and compelling ways to create powerful and attainable futures. The structure and pace of our work together will allow you to become courageously vulnerable so that you can create the space within your sub-consciousness to unveil, live, and share your life purpose. And in order for you to fully benefit from the program, your full participation, open-mindedness, and readiness and willingness for positive change and growth in your life is highly encouraged so that you can create sustainable, measureable, attainable, realistic, and tangible results from your hard work and efforts. So if you’re willing and able to take this first step in your transformational journey with me of becoming your own muse, I’ll be honoured to be your guide.”
